Polish PM warns NATO loses meaning if members turn against each other

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has warned that no NATO member should attack or threaten another member of the alliance, otherwise NATO will lose its purpose. His comments came in response to recent statements about the potential seizure of Greenland.

“No member of the North Atlantic Alliance should attack or threaten another member. NATO would lose its meaning if conflicts or mutual aggression were to take place within the alliance,” Tusk emphasized.

He also expressed the view that no European country would accept any attempt to distort the essence of NATO.

“Denmark can certainly rely on the solidarity of the entire European community — I have no doubt about that,” the Polish prime minister concluded.
