Iran’s parliament speaker says Israel and US bases in Middle East legitimate targets in case of attack

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned that in the event of a U.S. military strike, Tehran would target Israel and American military facilities in the Middle East, TASS reports.

“In the event of a U.S. military attack, both the occupied territories [referring to Israel] and U.S. land and naval bases will become legitimate targets for us,” Ghalibaf said, according to Iran’s state television.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump had expressed his willingness to provide support to individuals involved in the unrest in Iran.
