Deputy Foreign Minister: Armenia did not receive the armament it paid for from Russia.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan confirmed the statement of the Security Council Secretary that Russia was paid, but the weapons were not received. “Armenia did not receive the armament it paid for from Russia. Works are underway. The weapons have not really been delivered to Armenia. We are working towards this as we speak. I have nothing else to add. The payment has been made,” said the deputy minister.

When asked whether the issue lay in lack of weapons or the Kremlin’s political decision, the deputy minister said that he would not answer that question either.
