The publication notes that the White House has not yet scheduled a bilateral meeting between the US leader and Zelensky.

“According to a Republican foreign policy expert who requested anonymity, Zelensky wants a face-to-face meeting, and the reluctance to hold it is coming from the White House,” the article says.

The source added that Zelensky would like to meet with Trump because he believes the benefits outweigh the costs, and that if he does not engage with him, others will.
