Azerbaijan accepts Trump’s invitation to become Peace Council’s founding member

On Jan. 16, US President Donald Trump announced his decision to establish an international organization called the Peace Council and extended invitations to both Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the country has accepted the invitation and informed the US authorities of its intention to become a founding member of the Peace Council.

Earlier, PM Nikol Pashinyan also accepted Trump’s proposal, reaffirming Armenia’s commitment to advancing peace.
