Iran’s supreme leader threatens Trump with ‘powerful strike’

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has responded to threats made by US President Donald Trump, IRNA reported.

“He [Trump] claims that their army is the strongest in the world. However, even the strongest army in the world can be struck so hard that it will not be able to recover,” Khamenei stated.

He also noted that Americans repeatedly speak about sending ships toward Iran.

“Of course, a navy is dangerous, but even more dangerous is the weapon that can sink that ship to the bottom of the sea,” Khamenei stated.

Khamenei further declared that President Donald Trump will not succeed in destroying the Islamic Republic of Iran.
