‘We have made significant progress’: Araghchi on talks with US

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that the latest round of negotiations with the United States in Geneva was among the “most serious” meetings, Al Jazeera reports.

According to the minister, the Iranian and US delegations made significant progress on issues related to nuclear energy and sanctions relief. The sides also discussed the elements of a future agreement.

Under the agreement reached, technical teams will begin consultations in Vienna on March 2.
