
Iran has a new supreme leader
Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei has been appointed the third supreme leader of Iran, Tasnim writes.
He is the son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“The Assembly of Experts, by an overwhelming majority of votes, has nominated Ayatollah Hajj Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the statement said.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in a US-Israeli attack.
