Charles Michel calls Armenia–Azerbaijan peace decision an extremely courageous step

Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan will improve the region’s economic development and bring stability and security, former European Council President Charles Michel said, stressing that the decision to reach a peace agreement was an extremely courageous step.

“I strongly support all efforts aimed at strengthening this peace agreement. I believe this agreement will create a very solid foundation for developing connectivity in the region and will improve the region’s economic development. At the same time, through greater stability and security, it will improve people’s well-being and create opportunities for the implementation of various projects,” Michel said.
