Iran confirms Ali Larijani’s death

Iran has officially confirmed the death of Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, as a result of an Israeli-American strike.

“The pure souls of the martyrs embraced the pure soul of God’s righteous servant, martyr Dr. Ali Larijani, who, after dedicating his entire life to the cause of Iran and the Islamic Revolution, finally achieved his long-standing wish,” Tasnim quotes from a statement published on the politician’s Telegram channel.

According to the statement, Larijani’s son and his head of security were also killed in the attack.
