Border delimitation commissions planning to meet in late January

Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on a meeting between the border delimitation commissions at the end of January. Secretary of the RA State Council Armen Grigoryan said this in an interview to Armenian Public TV.

“There is an agreement for the delimitation commissions to meet in late January. We hope that the meeting will take place,” Armen Grigoryan said.

To remind, the latest meeting between the border delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan was held on Nov. 30, 2023, on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. At the meeting, the parties tentatively agreed on the text of the schedule of commissions’ sessions and joint meetings. Armenia and Azerbaijan also agreed to start working on the coordination of the draft regulation on the joint activity of border delimitation commissions.
