A fire broke out a year ago in the accommodation of the N military unit of the RA Defense Ministry in the Azat village of Gegharkunik Province. Boys were killed; some miraculously survived; trials took place, verdicts and decisions were given; but we never got the answer to the main question. Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan spoke about the unknown causes of the fire in Azat village on “Change the Channel With Abraham Gasparyan”.
“Pashinyan’s junta resorted to the tactics of covering up the issue and not giving the true picture: from changing the leadership of the army corps and beheading the army to absurd explanations that did not sound convincing to a thinking man; and all this happened when the investigation had not been launched yet. I am sure the day will come and all the undisclosed details of this tragedy will be revealed. This was a bitter blow to our army, the main guarantor of our security, the role of which the ruling political group is trying to downplay and nullify,” Gasparyan said.
According to the political scientist, while Aliyev gives an interview, talks about the villages that Armenia has to cede, the Armenian leadership, instead of responding to those claims or facts, comes to the National Assembly and, taking us for complete fools, talks about some Zangezur corridor, noting that the corridor issue has always been an item on the agenda, that it is not the failure of their diplomacy, but their predecessors are to blame for that. Another official blames the snowfall, says that defensive positions are of no use — saying all this with implications, of course. The other one talks about the loot.
