Abraham Gasparyan: Pashinyan’s every action is adventurism, for which we have paid and are paying a heavy price, and the future is yet to come
Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan analyzed on “Change the Channel With Abraham Gasparyan” the synchronized actions of Ankara, Baku and Yerevan, the possibility of Armenia becoming part of Turkey, the poor security prospects of Armenia, left without allies, the political and informational manipulations of the defeatist authorities and the destructive discourse of opposing the concepts of homeland and state.
“Pashinyan does not care what is written in that paper, by what means and security mechanisms or with the involvement of what guarantors this peace will be established. However, the other side of the issue is whether these papers have any significance for these two states of the Turkic world: Turkey and Azerbaijan. Moreover, the person who has seized the prime minister’s seat does not at all care about what people talk about him. His political integrity is disputable, to put it mildly. His every action is adventurism, for which we have paid and are paying a heavy price, and the future is yet to come,” Gasparyan said.
According to the political scientist, when the Russian foreign minister says that the issue of Artsakh or the issue of the troops based there but not carrying out any peacekeeping mission there concerns only Moscow and Baku, it means that they do not talk to and will not talk to Armenia regarding the Artsakh issue; this means that with regard to the future security architecture of the South Caucasus Azerbaijan will become an important partner for Russia, in terms of communication links, oil and gas export and geopolitics.
