Georgian prime minister gives up office

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has resigned from office. Garibashvili said this.

“I would like to inform the public about the decision that our team has come to: Today, I am quitting the Prime Minister’s post. I have received an offer from the City Council to take up the post of party chairman. The meeting will take place on Feb. 1,” he noted.
