Genesis Armenia meets with Iranian ambassador to Armenia
The representatives of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation met with the Iranian ambassador to Armenia.
Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan, who led the delegation, presented the foundation’s line of activities, the spectrum of scientific-analytical, public-political and organizational activities, spoke about the need to strengthen the naturally allied relations between Armenia and Iran amid regional and global developments, and highlighted the importance of joint efforts to neutralize the anti-Armenian and anti-Iranian propaganda and diplomatic actions.
He also referred to the important issues underlying the foundation’s political line and ideology: the exercise of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination and the need for international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
Abraham Gasparyan said it is necessary that Iran consider relations with Armenia and the Armenian people from a strategic and long-term perspective in every aspect: to be actively involved — in terms of security, economics, culture — in establishing stable, safe and reliable interstate relations in the South Caucasus, and becoming a stabilizing geopolitical factor, regardless of unconscious slips and reckless statements.
In this regard, according to Gasparyan, Genesis Armenia is ready to share its public and propaganda resources and experience with the embassy of friendly Iran.
The meeting was also attended by the Foundation’s Executive Director Artak Badalyan, Head of the “Politics and International Relations” sector Artin Arakelyan, Advisor on History Issues Armen Sargsyan.
