Serzh Sargsyan: Pressures may lead to some new cessions; This policy will lead to another capitulation

Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan does not rule out the possibility of a recurrence of border incidents, as happened recently in the village of Nerkin Hand in Syunik Province.

He told the press in the court’s courtyard, that such incidents are the natural continuation of the policy carried out by the country’s authorities, which will in fact lead to a new capitulation.

“Weeks ago, I said that if the “peace treaty” is signed, it will be a recapitulation, and as we can see, in the meantime, Azerbaijan’s rhetoric has acquired new shades; it has acquired a semblance of instructions and commands. I do not rule out the possibility that the events of Nerkin Hand may be repeated in other places, as yesterday we heard an announcement at the Cabinet meeting, while these pressures may lead to some new cessions,” Serzh Sargsyan said.
To the question as to how long this situation will continue, Serzh Sargsyan said, till the moment when everyone — journalists, political forces, the people, and those who are not indifferent to the future of their homeland — sends these authorities home.
