Polls have opened in Russia for the presidential election. Voting will take place for three days, on March 15, 16 and 17.
The candidates for the office are Leonid Slutsky, Nikolay Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and the incumbent head of state, Vladimir Putin.
Analysts are sure that incumbent President Vladimir Putin, who is running for the elections for the fifth time and has been ruling the country since 2000, is going to win the election by majority vote.
