Zakharova: The EU mission in Armenia is turning into a NATO mission

With the efforts of Western countries, the EU mission in Armenia is turning into a NATO mission, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing.

“In order to show a certain demand toward the alliance, the leaders of its member states incite anti-Russian hysteria, call for preparations for a military conflict with our country, and invest heavily in the military industry. However, in the case of Armenia, they don’t make investments, but call on Armenia to invest in military-industrial complexes. They have promised a lot to everyone: Serbia, Ukraine. The countries that managed to dismiss this false message, under the guise of which a real destruction of statehood, society and economy takes place, did not fall. Those that did not manage or did not want to, such as Ukraine, collapsed,” Zakharova said.
