Chances of diplomacy to bring Artsakh to a new international status: Abraham Gasparyan’s lecture in Zürich

Artsakh: Homecoming diplomacy, capacity and rights. Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan gave his second lecture in Zürich. He presented the seven stages of Artsakh’s struggle for self-determination and the chances of Armenian diplomacy to bring Artsakh to a new international status.

“We should not look for a traitor in any foreign state. Foreign countries have their own policies and interests. This is a game of great powers, and we don’t need to get upset about it.

The other side of the question is whether you are able to fit into those interests or whether you make enough efforts to fit in,” the political scientist said.

During the meeting with the Armenian community of Switzerland, Gasparyan also spoke about the capacity of the Diaspora and its proper realization. He noted that there should be close cooperation between the next authorities of Armenia and the Diaspora. We should use all lobbying channels regarding the right of Artsakh to self-determination.
