Malyan gets 1 year in prison, but to remain in prison for 5 months considering custody on remand
The court held that Narek Malyan, the founder of the VETO movement, will be sentenced to one year in prison. Taking into account the time he has already spent in custody on remand, he will remain in prison for five months and seven days.
The decision was made by Susanna Gzogyan, judge of the Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan.
In addition, 108,000 and 198,000 drams will be confiscated from Malyan.
The verdict can be protested.
