Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Issues of peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus are on the agenda for the Putin-Pashinyan talks

At a press briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova welcomed the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan scheduled for May 10 in Kazakhstan. Zakharova noted that Russia is ready to support the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“On April 22, the president of Russia met with the leader of Azerbaijan, and today he will meet with the prime minister of Armenia. Issues of peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus are on the agenda for these talks,” Zakharova said.
