France to continue to work with Armenia and Azerbaijan toward just and lasting peace

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France welcomed the talks between the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers in Almaty. The ministry highlighted the importance of the agreement reached at the Prague meeting on Oct. 7, 2022 and the mutual recognition of the countries’ territorial integrity at the core of this process.

Paris called on Yerevan and Baku to continue the border delimitation process based on the principles of the protocol signed on April 19, as well as to continue discussions toward a peace treaty.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France noted that they will continue to work with their partners to establish a just and lasting peace in the South Caucasus, in accordance with international law.
