In particular, First Vice President of Iran Mohammad Mokhber has been appointed as acting president of Iran. This appointment was made under the country’s Constitution.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has taken over as acting foreign minister.

According to the media, after Raisi’s death, Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the supreme leader of Iran, is considered his father’s potential successor. Before that, President Raisi was considered the most likely candidate for the supreme leader.
