The village was not the village I knew; life was different there. When I entered the village, it was like a ghost village; there was no one there. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan said this to the press after entering Kirants.
“I have never seen this village like this before; even when I was passing by, I would see at least one person, but now there was no one. People live hidden in their corners; the village mourns when no one has died. They have killed people’s souls; people have been stripped of their honor. When the residents knew that I was in the village, they gathered together. In our country, no one should forbid us to do anything; we should go wherever we want, we should go as we want. I got out of the car and asked to be allowed to go and see the villagers, because after all, I am their spiritual father. We are working toward our goal step by step; there is no other option,” Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan told the press.
