We are ready for anything for the movement to succeed. Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said this to the press.
Whether the movement will succeed or not, Serzh Sargsyan did not want to make assumptions but noted that if all the tools and opportunities are used correctly, it will succeed.
“We have stated many a time that we have neither a desire to return nor to take power. Our aim is the change of power and we will support every movement that is aimed at it,” he said.
Speaking about the Almaty Declaration, Sargsyan noted that the declaration merely recorded the collapse of the USSR, and nothing about borders is mentioned there. He added that the borders of Armenia were established by the agreement signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan in 1988.
