Urge the archbishop to behave appropriately. Armenian Chief of Police Aram Hovhannisyan told the press.

“Urge the archbishop to behave properly and to urge people that they behave properly,” Hovhannisyan said.

He added that the police operate within the law and do not arrest anyone unnecessarily.

“We do not unnecessarily arrest anyone standing on the sidewalk. Cameras show how they block the road and run, standing there like brats,” he said.
