NATO and the EU are causing an increase in tensions in Georgia, as well as in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations with their line of confrontation with Russia, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said.
He noted that “in order to settle the conflicts, mediation efforts are being imposed on Armenia and Azerbaijan”.
“They are offered to conclude a peace treaty exclusively on Western platforms and at their dictation,” the Russian defense minister added.
According to him, the Western countries are deliberately trying to damage the allied relations between the CSTO countries and discredit the organization.
The official also noted that the growing military threats around the CSTO require the improvement of the included forces and means.
