A meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils was held in Almaty under the chairmanship of the Kazakh side. During the meeting, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov reported on the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility and the measures aimed at neutralizing security challenges and threats facing the organization’s member states. The participants of the meeting thoroughly discussed the military-political situation created in the area of responsibility of the CSTO, as well as the activities carried out within the organization in order to respond to the challenges and threats facing the member states.
