Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection closed 3 days on end

Members and supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland movement have been keeping the Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection closed for three days in protest.

The members of the initiative, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, announced that they were starting an impeachment process against the Government, after which 33 Opposition MPs put forward a motion to the National Assembly to convene an extraordinary session and put the resignation of the Government and the formation of a new government on the agenda. The motion was rejected. Later, it became clear that, by law, the session would take place on June 17.

To remind, the members of the movement marched to Baghramyan Avenue after the rally on Sunday, where, meeting large police forces, they put up tents and said that they would stay on the streets.
