Armen Manvelyan: Rev. Bagrat has managed to unite representatives of different political forces who would not even sit next to each other in a usual situation

Rev. Bagrat has managed to unite representatives of different political forces who would not even sit next to each other in a usual situation, expert on International Relations Armen Manvelyan told ABC Media.

“The Holy Father has managed to unite everyone; this is a very important factor for the success of such a movement. For the first time, a political process is taking place in Armenia, which has a clearly appointed leader, and his leadership is very important; this is also an important unifying factor, thanks to which many people support him,” Manvelyan noted.

Speaking about the international reactions, Manvelyan singled out the reactions of Turkey and Azerbaijan, which support the present regime.

“Turkey clearly stated that Armenia’s enemy is the Armenian Diaspora. The Diaspora is trying to present the current political regime as an enemy. In this respect, Erdogan and the present regime are on the same line,” he said.

According to him, the rest act as observers.
