EU to develop 15th sanction package

Immediately after approving the 14th package of sanctions against Russia, the EU is discussing the development of the 15th package of sanctions, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said during the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.

“The work on the next package will start immediately,” she noted.

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said which sectors will be affected by the new package of sanctions against Russia. He clarified that it will be connected with the military and industrial complex, financial and energy sectors.
