Perhaps we are talking about some secretary who is humiliating his own nation: Zakharova on Armen Grigoryan

At a press briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova was asked to comment on the statement of Armen Grigoryan, the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, where he said that “Russia came, took Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenians, returned it to Azerbaijan, and went back; at that time we were completely dependent on Russia”.

Zakharova first expressed surprise, then asked: “What is that person’s position? Perhaps we are talking about some secretary. There are things that are impossible to interpret without having medical education. The important thing is that, being Government officials, such figures humiliate their own nation. Armenian citizens defended their territory, gave their lives, and considered it historically important. The ideology of Armenia as a state has been built on these theses for many years. They responded to the calls of political and public figures. They knew why they were going to war, why they were sacrificing their well-being, why they were condemning their wives and children to widowhood and orphanhood. How can their memory be betrayed in such a cynical way? How can something that was called an act of heroism in Armenia be nullified? Who gave people surviving on outside nutrition—obviously temporarily— the right to insult their own nation like this?” Zakharova noted.
