International Criminal Court: As long as there is impunity, the threat of further violence will hang over the heads of the people of the South Caucasus
Former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian will attend the U.N. Human Rights Council session in Geneva on July 9 to defend the right of Armenians to return to Artsakh as part of establishing sustainable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“As long as there is no justice for the victims of the last stage of the Armenian Genocide, the threat of further violence will always hang over the heads of the people of the South Caucasus,” John Eibner, the CEO of Christian Solidarity International-USA, said.
“The ICC is pleased to host Mr. Oskanian and his delegation at the United Nations to protect the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh who are determined to return to their homeland despite what they have endured,” Eibner said.
