The Chinese side firmly supports the peace agenda proposed by the Azerbaijani side in accordance with the “Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People’s Republic of China” adopted at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation on July 3.
“The Chinese side resolutely supports the peace agenda proposed by the Azerbaijani side and considers geopolitical intrigues aimed at maintaining the confrontation to be counterproductive,” reads the declaration.
As mentioned, the sides will continue to support each other on the development path chosen in accordance with their national characteristics, are ready to cooperate to achieve common development and prosperity, and will maintain close contacts as much as possible. “Important issues of national, as well as regional and global security, strengthen trust and do not allow any force to use the territory of its state to carry out operations against the other side,” the declaration stated.
