Tyumen to Yerevan plane returns due to malfunction
The plane from Tyumen to Yerevan has returned to the airport of departure due to an autopilot failure. As TASS reports, this was announced by the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
“The crew of the Utair Boeing-738 plane, which took off from Tyumen Airport at 6:18 a.m. local time, received information about a malfunction during the flight. A decision was made for the plane to return to the airport from where it took off,” reads the statement.
According to the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office, the plane landed safely at 8:43 a.m. local time.
According to Zvartnots International Airport, the plane was due to land in Yerevan at 8:50 a.m., but it was postponed and will land at 1:30 p.m.
