Orban asks Erdogan to support his peace initiative for Ukraine
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he had asked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to support his peace initiative and join efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
“I asked Mr. President to support us in our peace mission. The stances of the warring parties are still far from each other. But if the “friends of peace” unite, with joint efforts, we can take the next step toward peace,” Orban said in a video message on Facebook after talks with Erdogan within the framework of the NATO summit in Washington.
