French President Emmanuel Macron accepted the resignation of French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, BFM TV reports, referring to the Élysée Palace.
Attal will work with members of the government to manage existing issues before the appointment of a new government.
Taking office at the age of 34, Attal makes the youngest prime minister in the history of France and the youngest head of government in the EU.
