President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has been re-elected to the post for a second five-year term, Politiko reports.
In a secret ballot, 401 lawmakers endorsed von der Leyen in the 720-seat Parliament. Another 284 MPs voted against her candidacy, 15 MPs abstained, and seven ballots were declared invalid.
