Today, Ararat Mirzoyan will attend the meeting within the
framework of the regional consultative platform “3+3” in Tehran at the Iranian
side’s invitation.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry reports that bilateral
meetings are also planned within the visit.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry has announced their decision
not to attend the meeting.
“Georgia will not attend that meeting and has never attended
any meeting within that format,” the Georgian foreign ministry noted.
To remind, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had
introduced the “3+3” format. The first meeting was held on Dec. 10, 2021, in
Moscow. Georgia, however, did not attend the meeting.
