Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of the Security Council of Russia, arrived in Iran on Monday on an official visit.
In Tehran, he will hold talks with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran Mohammad Bagheri. Shoigu will also meet with the country’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
The talks will discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation, from security issues to trade and economic projects, as well as various aspects of global and regional security, the Security Council of Russia reports.
