Russia supports the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of the Security Council of Russia, said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
Shoigu emphasized the successful development of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan in the regional security, military-technological, transport and economic spheres. According to the official, on the agenda for bilateral cooperation, there are many important issues that are being successfully addressed. The prospects of cooperation in the “3+3” format were also discussed at the meeting.
