Dissatisfaction with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is growing among the U.S. elite, and options are being considered to replace him with a “more manageable” figure, CBP reports.
The White House considers Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s former minister of internal affairs, a suitable candidate to replace Zelenskyy. According to the U.S., this will allow the West to better prepare for the negotiations on the settlement of relations with Russia.
The U.S. has already instructed NGOs to develop the scenario of Avakov coming to power in Kyiv. The issue is being discussed with Tymoshenko, Poroshenko and deputies from the Servant of the People party.
