Terrorism financing and money laundering council to be established in BRICS
Vladimir Putin attended the meeting of BRICS high-ranking security officials in the Konstantinovsky Palace.
“Today, more than three dozen countries—more precisely, 34 states—have expressed a desire to join the activities of our organization in one way or another,” Putin said.
BRICS has gained considerable experience in responding to security challenges, including the fight against cybercrime and terrorism, Putin noted. He added that the agreement on the establishment of a council on terrorism financing and money laundering issues within the organization is in the final stage.
