NATO is planning to send troops to Ukraine to force Russia to negotiate under the principles proposed by Kyiv, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said at the Beijing Xiangshan Forum, noting that such actions of NATO are dangerous and may lead to a direct conflict between nuclear powers.
“The U.S. is actively working on a new version of the nuclear doctrine, and Moscow is concerned that these changes may lower the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons,” Fomin noted.
