The U.S. welcomes the progress in the negotiations on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including in the issues of “border delimitation”, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said, commenting on the phone conversation between U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Miller noted that in a conversation with Pashinyan, Blinken reaffirmed the importance of establishing a stable and dignified peace in the South Caucasus.
