Mamijanyan: We planned to buy 2,500 drones, but instead Pashinyan bought SU fighters, which were not used during the war
We planned to buy about 2,500 drones, half of which should have arrived in Armenia by 2020, Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the NA With Honor faction, said at a Parliament briefing.
According to Mamijanyan, Pashinyan changed the arms plan when he came to power, and instead of drones, he bought SU fighters, which were not used during the war.
“Now let them apologize for that,” the MP said.
He noted that the armed MOB won in the four-day war of 2016, and no case of desertion was recorded at that time.
According to Mamijanyan, Pashinyan should also apologize for not signing a ceasefire in October 2020.
“They were also talking about arsenals being full or empty. I won’t mention figures, but less than half of the shells were used. The Armenian Armed Forces did not have any problems regarding weapons, and it was due to the weapons we had acquired and received for free,” Mamijanyan said.
To remind, earlier, Andranik Kocharyan, an MP from the Civil Contract party, said that if the former authorities had been worried at the time, they would not have spent the 44-day war “behind cans and bottles”.
