The suspect in the shootout near the golf club owned by Donald Trump has been taken into custody, the ex-president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., said in an X post.
He also wrote that, according to law enforcement agencies, an AK-47 assault rifle was found in the bushes.
The U.S. Secret Service responded to the shooting of Trump when he was leaving the golf club. Two people shot each other near the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
The shots were not aimed at the former U.S. president, the source of the New York Post reports. However, supporters claim otherwise.
