Russia is closely monitoring the escalating situation in the U.S., but is not interfering in it, as it has always done, Spokesperson for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on the news about the new assassination attempt against U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump. “This is not our business,” the Kremlin spokesperson noted.
“We can see how tense the situation is, including between political rivals. The political struggle is intensifying; various methods are being used,” Peskov said.
To remind, on Sept. 15, a shootout took place near the golf club owned by Trump. This is already the second assassination attempt against him.
