At a meeting in Moscow, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk and his Azerbaijani counterpart Shahin Mustafayev confirmed their willingness to continue the constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening Russian-Azerbaijani relations.
“Alexey Overchuk and Shahin Mustafayev have confirmed their willingness to continue constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening Russian-Azerbaijani relations in all spheres,” the Russian government said in a statement.
The parties also discussed issues of bilateral trade and economic, scientific and technical cooperation. “Special attention was paid to cooperation in the fields of transport, education and environmental protection. Other issues of mutual interest for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan were also discussed,” reads the statement.
