CSTO still considering Armenia equal partner

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) continues to consider Armenia an equal partner and is ready for dialogue on all issues, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said in an interview to the “Allies: CSTO” social and political periodical.

“As you may know, representatives of Armenia did not participate in the CSTO military drills, but we still consider Armenia an equal partner. We are ready for dialogue on all issues with our colleagues in Yerevan,” Tasmagambetov noted.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan had freezed participation in the CSTO activities, because, according to him, that organization creates threats to the sovereignty of the republic.
